Happy Pi Day! It’s 3-14 aka 3.14 aka March 14th, 2024.
It’s especially happy for the Bitcoin community. A man of monumental fraud and vindictiveness has lost his court case today! He has gotten a big pie in his face by a British court!
His name is Craig Steve Wright aka CSW aka #Faketoshi aka #Fauxtoshi (that last nickname is my own creation).
He has gone around claiming he’s the inventor of Bitcoin and owns all the intellectual property behind it including the computer code.
He’s attacked critics with lawfare. Expensive court cases have sought to bankrupt his critics over time.

Here’s the quick summary of the judge’s ruling in the “COPA vs Craig S Wright” case that came down this morning courtesy of BitMEX Research on X.com:
The final words from Judge Mellor below:
“Having considered all the evidence and submissions presented to me in this trial, I’ve reached the conclusion that the evidence is overwhelming. Therefore, for the reasons which will be explained in that written judgment in due course, I will make certain declarations which I am satisfied are useful and are necessary to do justice between the parties.
First, that Dr Wright is NOT the author of the Bitcoin White Paper.
Second, Dr Wright is NOT the person who adopted or operated under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto in the period 2008 to 2011.
Third, Dr Wright is NOT the person who created the Bitcoin System.
And, fourth, he is NOT the author of the initial versions of the Bitcoin software.
For any further information, you’ll to wait for the written judgment.”
CSW submitted over 500 fraudulent pieces of evidence in this trial…that’s just one of the crazy facts from this case.
Thankfully, Bitcoin and it’s community can continue to grow and develop without CSW and his army of lawyers seeking to destroy and bankrupt them with lawfare.
Bitcoin now has a market cap over $1 trillion US Dollars! May it continue to thrive.
